Curved Slope Rail

R-18

Shape of Curved Slope Rail A

A slope that climbs and descends while turning. A and B are mirror images; you can't flip one over to stand in for the other.

4 of them climb 1 Block Pier tier while turning half a circle (180°). When there is no room for a straight slope, this is where you gain height.

A and B have their tabs and slots reversed at the ends. If they weren't, you couldn't build a hill that climbs on A and descends on B (the two tops would fail to mesh). That is why the climb and the descent need separate parts.

Tips for building

  • Connect 8 of these curving the same way and they close a full 360° loop.
  • 4 of these climb one Block Pier tier (66mm).
  • Like the real part it can't be flipped, so left/right is decided when you place it.

Build with these exact dimensions

You can lay out every part, Curved Slope Rail included, using real-world dimensions. It accounts for the free play in every joint, so you know whether the loop closes before you build.
