S-Curve Rail

A rail that shifts 1 track over to the side while moving forward.
The entry and exit point the same way; only the position of the track shifts sideways. Use it to pull a single line over into double track, or to connect 2 loops running side by side.
It curves out and back, so the net change of direction is zero. Slip it into a loop and the angle arithmetic for closing stays the same.
